Examples of Tellus projects during the past five years

Major Power Station Construction.   Project Security and Safety during high levels of violence in Karachi, Pakistan.  Construction was under way during the highest levels of violence the region has seen in recent years.  This was a major project involving World Bank funding.  Tellus was required to provide for the security of investment, plant and employees, and to put in place contingency plans for the ongoing operation.

Crisis Management - West Africa. Members of Tellus were deployed to take control of the situation following the overrun of a large mine by anti Government rebels.  As the team arrived in country, mine employees were escaping through the bush; the rebels held 14 hostages including six Europeans; there was very little information on the situation, and communications were poor.

Risk Assessment

Tellus was required to conduct the risk assessment, and to formulate the security and contingency plans for a major Telecommunications project in central Africa, facing serious criminal risks and a volatile political situation.
